Meet Your Therapist

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating a major life change, or simply wanting to feel more like yourself again, you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel understood, respected, and comfortable being yourself. Together, we'll explore what's bringing you to therapy, make sense of patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build on the strengths you already have.
I take a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy, drawing from my experience and training in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), EMDR, and Sandtray Therapy. We'll consider how your experiences have shaped the way you understand yourself and navigate your life, while tailoring our work to your needs, goals, and readiness. I value building strong therapeutic relationships where you feel heard, respected, and supported throughout the process.
I earned my Master of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Mental Health from Drake University. After graduate school, I spent three years working in residential treatment programs in the Midwest, where I supported adolescents with significant mental health and substance use challenges. Before returning home to Washington, I provided outpatient therapy for four years to teenagers, undergraduate and graduate students, and adults in a diverse clinical setting in Los Angeles. These experiences continue to shape my work as a therapist, and I lead with curiosity, empathy, and respect for each person's unique story.
My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, and create a life that feels more balanced and authentic.
I currently provide therapy virtually to clients in California.
